Rare Digital has been appointed to deliver a new website for a leading science conference taking place at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester on Thursday, 18th May 2017.
The brief for a website design and build is for the second Business of Science Conference (BoSC) which brings together prominent experts in science and business from across the North and the wider UK to learn about great science and connect with great people to develop strong business. Following Manchester’s celebrations as “The European City of Science” and BoSC16, the second conference will again explore the development and commercialisation of science and innovation, showcasing case studies drawn from successful businesses along with a review the of the required skills to support this.
Rare Digital’s Managing Director Lyndsay Broughton said: “We are proud to have been appointed to be part of such an exciting, North West-based project that highlights the scientific capabilities and ingenuity within the region. The work that Steve Bennett and Science North Ltd have done towards increasing awareness and showcasing great science has been outstanding and we look forward to seeing how BoSC17 inspires and informs the industry in 2017.”
Steve Bennett, the Founder and Managing Director of Science North Ltd who have created the BoSC Series commented:
“As with any start-up business, a website is crucial to the development of the new product or service. For BoSC16, I struggled to be the ‘Webmaster’ and so needed a partner for BoSC17 who could develop ideas, take-on board the improvements from attendee feedback and offer a flexibility of approach to accommodate a diverse range of sponsors and supporter.
