Clean Beauty Co. appoint Rare Digital as digital agency
London-based, natural beauty company Clean Beauty Co have appointed Rare Digital as their digital marketing and media agency.
Founded by duo Elsie Rutterford and Dominika Minarovic, Clean Beauty’s aim is make natural beauty routines accessible to the masses and empower people to take control of what they put on their skin.
Founders Rutterford and Minarovic explain, “We were agonising over the ingredients in food, researching clean eating and already super concerned about what was going into our bodies in an effort to move away from high-processed rubbish. But we were still obsessed with beauty products, using up to 20 different products a day. Clean Beauty Co came out of a natural merge of these two things: if we were so concerned about what we were putting into our bodies, why weren’t we thinking about what we were putting onto our bodies? After all, our skin is our biggest organ and – surprise surprise – it absorbs a lot! After a little research, we were both disappointed to discover what actually goes into our favourite shampoos, moisturisers, scrubs and foundations so decided to make a change and CBCo was born pretty much overnight! We now share recipes, run clean beauty events and have a range of premium products”
Rare Digital’s appointment coincides with the launch of their new e-commerce website and launch of their first book, published by Penguin Random House.
Rare Digital’s Lyndsay Broughton said:
We couldn’t be more excited to be appointed as the digital marketing agency for Clean Beauty Co. I whole heartedly believe in the brand and products Elsie and Dominika have developed. It’s a delight to work with such an authentic and passionate company that is working to change the face of the mainstream beauty industry.
Rare Digital’s Jake Mason added
Clean Beauty is an ambitious company that is at the start of a very exciting digital journey. We are seeing a movement within the beauty and cosmetic industry with businesses reflecting consumer behaviour by preferring to sell direct online rather than through retailers. With Clean Beauty Co thinking digital first, and with the great brand they have created, the online opportunities for growth are huge.
